I developed a love of creating things with glass after attending classes at the fabulous National Glass Centre in Sunderland. The classes helped me develop my style and inspired me to purchase a kiln so I could be creative whenever I wanted.

I now create pieces from my ‘workshop’ on the outskirts of Durham City. I particularly enjoy experimenting with textures and colour as well as re-cycling where possible.

I started by giving presents to friends and was amazed by how many asked me to make gifts for them.  After a few commissions to make pieces for corporate gifts, IU decided to branch out and offer the pieces further afield.

As everything is handmade, I can change colours and designs to suit your taste. Some pieces feature local landmarks.  Some use recycled glass.  All are unique.

I hope you enjoy browsing.

I are delighted that some pieces are available from the Season’s Gallery in Church Street, Durham and in Elvet and Bailey, in the Prince Bishops’ Shopping Centre, Durham.
